Tom, Great website! It's always great to hear what you're up to and how you're doing. I'm Blessed to have met you 'way back then' and to still be remembered. I am coming home to see my daughter and granddaughter then, I would LOVE to see you then. If you were looking for a HIGHLY polished performance from a band, then Tom Hipps and the Shakers performance this past Saturday night at Westfield Golf Course was not for you. On the other hand, if you were looking for an all around good time in which the band allowed accomplished musicians from the audience to join them for a few songs, or you enjoy LYAO with the bands' comedic antics, then this was the place to be on Saturday. Thanks guys, I never tire of hearing you perform.

I really enjoyed Costello and Hipp's performance at the Freight House in La Crosse,Wi on October 8th,2011! From Costello's accoustics to Tom's rich and sonorous voice.It was a performance worth listening to. I applaud both of you!! Great music and tremendous talent! Hope to see you again. Blessings!

Tom, Gordy, Dan, & Phil of the band From Ordinary did it again. They were able to continue their hard rockin' ways at the Minnesota State Fair this past Saturday evening. If you have not heard these guys perform recently you're missing out. So make it a point to catch them next time...and we'll see you there.

I remember the time when my brother Rick could play his guitar behind his back and even though Rick became very crippled he never gave up his music. As his fingers would not allow him to play one instrument or the other he moved to the next. Rick even went so far as to tape drumsticks to his hands just to play. Music was in Ricks sole and even today he is probably entertaining the angels. P.S. Ritz crackers are still a favorite snack in our family!
